Women and men experience both stresses. Men do not always recognize the pressures until it takes control of their lives. Anxiety & Stress management will help with tools you need to reverse the potential threat.

Coping with stress

Stress protects us from dealing with it. It asks us to confront or avoid pressure. It ‘s called the ” fight or flight” mechanism. Long-Term stress can be a factor of illness and a shortened lifespan. Weight is an individual experience, as we all have different personalities and ways to cope with stress. It is harder for men to recognized anxiety themselves as the signs and symptoms of stress will differ from person to person. Men are unlikely to report emotional and physical symptoms of stress as they often blame the symptoms for being overworked or tired.

Men are more likely to withdraw when stressed. Studies showed that stress related to home, work, and relationships is a leading cause of unravelling illness, bringing pain and hurt on the body and mind. Having the right tools to help with stress and anxiety management is something we should all learn, practice prevention before the damage is too severe.

Reduce your stress with practical but simple tools.

  • Find support, talking with someone who can genuinely listen about your life events and help you feel better.

  • Spend time with friends/family, do not stay isolated.
  • Stay active, go outside for a walk; It will clear you your mind; You will feel lighter/refresh.
  • Set time for a hobby, something you like to do.
  • Eat better, more fruits/veggies. Drink more water
  • Start to meditate if you don’t yet. If this is your first time meditating, start by 20 minutes guided meditation. For others, add one more session in your day.
